A. Absolutely! You can have up to 2 pets in your apartment. There’s a $50/month fee per pet, and a one-time non−refundable fee of $300 per pet to ensure they’re comfy and happy in their new home.
Q. Can I hang up my artwork and pictures?
A. Of course! We love seeing your personal touch. Feel free to use nail holes for artwork, pictures, and shelves. Just return things to their original state when you move out if you make any bigger changes.
Q. What if I want to paint my walls?
A. We get it—sometimes you want a splash of color! Just get approval from management first, and return the walls to their original color before you move out.
Q. How does the application process work?
A. It’s super easy! Apply online for your desired apartment, and we’ll handle income validation and verification. Once approved, you’ll get a welcome letter with all the details. Then it’s just paying the deposit and signing the lease!
Q. Do I need renter’s insurance?
A. Yes, we require a policy covering at least $100,000 in personal liability. It’s all about keeping you and your belongings safe!
Q. How do I submit service requests?
A. You can submit service requests directly through our app/portal, SLC Communities. Or call us, and we’ll take care of it for you.
Q. What about utilities?
A. No worries here! Gas is included, and water/sewer and electricity are sub-metered. You’ll be billed based on your usage.
Q. What’s the average rent price?
A. The average rent is $5,220, offering a comfortable and convenient living experience.
Q. How close are the train stations?
A. Super convenient! Central Islip and Ronkonkoma train stations are about 10–12 minutes away, making your commute a breeze.
